Genesis 35:16-29 The Deaths of Rachel and Isaac
Rachel died right after she gave birth to her second son, the last of Jacob's sons. Rachel named him Ben-Oni, but Jacob named him Benjamin. So they buried Rachel there.
Jacob who’s name was now Israel pitch his tent at Magdalene Eder. While there Reuben, Leah and Israel’s first born, slept Bilhah. Remember Bilhah was Rachel maidservants.
The twelve sons of Jacob:
Genesis 35:23-26
The sons of Leah:
Reuben the firstborn of Jacob,Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar and Zebulun.
The sons of Rachel:
Joseph and Benjamin.
The sons of Rachel’s maidservant Bilhah:
Dan and Naphtali.
The sons of Leah’s maidservant Zilpah:
Gad and Asher.
These were the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Paddan Aram.
Isaac was 180 years when he died. Esau and Jacob were there to bury him.
