Genesis 32:22-32 Jacob Wrestles with God
Jacob and his family left to head towards his native land, but Jacob sent all that he possessed and his family ahead. He was alone along with a man that he wrestled a night long until. The man injured his hip. When it was day break the man was ready to leave. Jacob would not let him leave until he blessed Jacob. The man asked his name. He replied Jacob. The man renamed him Israel, because he had wrestled against God and man and had overcome.
