Genesis 30:25-43 Jacob's Flocks Increase
After Joseph was born, Jacob wanted to go back to his homeland. But Laban did not want him to leave. He knew that God was blessing him because of Jacob. Laban offered to pay him to stay on. Jacob was only going to take the speckled and stopped lamb and goats. These lambs and goats should have been worth less than the pure white one.
Jacob tended to Laban’s flock. He took branches in so they would bread stripped and speckled babies. Laban he gave the weak animals and he took the strong.
