Genesis 23:1- 20 The Death of Sarah
Sarah lived to be 127 years old. Abraham asked to buy land to bury his dead. They told him he could have any of the land. He told them he wanted to by the cave of Machpelah. The owner, Ephron the Hittite, told him to take it and the land to bury his dead. Abraham insisted on paying for the land. Ephron did not want him to pay for it, but did tell him it was worth 400 shekels of silver. Abraham paid for the land and cave. This is where he buried Sarah.
