Exodus 10:1-20 The Plague of Locusts

Exodus 10:1-20 The Plague of Locusts

God told Moses and Aaron to go to Pharaoh once again.  So Moses and Aaron did as they were told.  Moses reminded the pharaoh that he would not let the Israelites go out to worship.  This time Moses said that he was going to bring Locust into Egypt.  The Locust were going to take care of anything that was left from the hail.  This will be the worst ever seen. After this Moses left Moses.  Pharaoh’s officials we all for letting the people go.

Exodus 10:7

Pharaoh’s officials said to him, “How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the LORD their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is ruined?”

Pharaoh had Moses and Aaron come back and he ask who would be going.  Moses told him that everyone one would be coming because it would be a celebration festival to the Lord.  Pharaoh said only the men could go.  After this they made Moses and Aaron leave.

The lord told Moses to stretch out your hand and then the Locust swarmed all over the land, and Moses did as he was told.  The locust was great in number and devoured everything green.  Pharaoh called for Moses and asked him to forgive his sin and pray for him.  Moses did as Pharaoh asked and the Lord changed the winds and made the locust go into the Red Sea.  But…..

Exodus 10:20

But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let the Israelites go.
