Exodus 8:16-19 The Plague of Gnats
The Lord told Moses to tell Aaron to strike the dust of the ground. The dust was going to turn to gnates. Moses and Aaron did as God told them to and when Aaron hit the ground the dust became gnats that went on men and animals. This time when pharaoh’s magicians tried to do the same they were not able. The magicians did acknowledge that it was from God but Pharaoh’s heart was hardened and would not listen.
Exodus 8:19
The magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the LORD had said.
