Exodus 10:21-29 The Plague of Darkness
The Lord told Moses to stretch out his hands toward heaven and darkness would fall. When Moses did this total darkness fell over Egypt for three days. No one in Egypt left their homes because it was completely dark. But there was still light where the Israelites lived. Pharaoh requested Moses and Aaron to come back this time pharaoh said everyone could go but not the animals behind.
Moses told him that the animals must go because the need them for the worship sacrificed. They would not know what they needed until they got there.
Exodus 10:27-29
But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to let them go. Pharaoh said to Moses, “Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die.”
“Just as you say,” Moses replied, “I will never appear before you again.”
