Exodus 28:1-5 The Priestly Garments
We have read a lot about the tabernacle and what goes in it, in this section we talk about the priests and what they will be clothed in. Moses’ brother Aaron and his two sons, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar were to serve as priests. The clothing was to set them apart, to show dignity and honor. God told Moses to have the skilled men make:
A breast piece
Ephod
Robe
Tunic
Turban
Sash
Exodus 28:5
Have them use gold, and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.
